Council and Chesters Wind Farm Action Group, who commended the report’s
outcome and detail.
“The local community councils were pleased to see the decision from the
Scottish Government, and the report accompanying the decision was
particularly detailed,” he said.
“It was very clear to see the major concerns with the scheme, landscape and
visual impact and residential amenity tied in closely with the major thrust
of local community objections and those from Scottish Borders Council.
“By giving such detail it makes it easier for local communities to
understand the decision making process, which they have been involved with
from start. “
“The councillors in Hawick and Denholm have been fully behind the efforts
of the community councils that have been up against it as its on their
lands as such.
“I’m very pleased, I just hope we can win a few more now.
“Someone said to be that if Birneyknowe had been passed there would have
been no application that couldn’t be passed. It was so inappropriate.”
Banks Renewables said that the project would provide a £2.5m community
benefit fund and promised to improve access to jobs in the area by
providing a new fund to boost training and workplace opportunities.

The Bauld Buccleuch-Buck, Richard Scott, is descended from Mary Queen of Scots, down to Charles II, then from another lady besides Charles wife because she did not have any children, and may not was able to. Prince William a Spencer is also descended from Charles II.
My line is descended from Clementis Hobs (ie Robert Elliott) living in Stobs then Gorrenberry, a notorious thief of Liddesdale, and his father an Andrew nicknamed Dan the Cowie of Gorrenberry, because the Scots of Teviotdale, Buccleuch one of them would hide him away up north being a fugitive and when he came down to visit his son Hob-Robert, and chop wood at night the family made up this story about a Cowie.
Willie O(ver) Gorrenberry, the goodman (landholder) of Gorrenberry, was in on the rescue of Kinmount Willie from Carlisle Castle. At time of Border Pacification the Tower of Gorrenberry was destroyed, and I wonder what happened to Willie-O.
Kinmount is the placed the Kynmont-Kinmont-Kinmount, had a fort and moved down to the mouth (ie also Kinmouth) of the Esk on the east side north of the Liddel Water, and built a tower which they called Kinmont Tower. A Willie came from this tower and moved to Morton, and built a tower on the Sark River at Morton. This was after the Scots Dyke was placed, not at a rig (ie ridge). The tower was first referred to as Kinmont’s Mortoun tower, then after the Morton and Morton Parish moved west to Thornhill it became Kinmont’s Tower of Sark. It is from Morton Tower, on the White Sark, in which Kinmont was from when Buccleuch, and my family in 1596 rescue him from Carlisle Castle. The army on the Scottish strand/bank, of the Liddel Water were at first as their chief Alexandir Armstrand in 1376 of Mangerton referred to by the surname of Armystrand, in 1540 they were the Armistrang, Armi, for army because sometimes a ‘y’ would become an ‘i’, meaning ‘army’ and the Scottish strang became ‘strong’. So they the ‘Armistrang’, identified themselves and rightly so because they were the ‘strong army’ of Scotland at the time.
So names such as Kinmont Willie which would have likely became Willie Kinmont became Willie Armstrong, Hector of Harlow instead of Hector Harlow became Hector Armstrong, and Johnie of Gilnockie instead of Johnie Gilnockie became Johnie Armstrong, because these people which today’s Scotland and James VI of Scotland are trying to genocide their historic past are the Robert the Bruce and the Douglas family army of the past. The governments of James VI following in suit the Nicola Sturgeon’s government in their action in the placement of a wind farm next to The Hermitage Castle, is still trying to genocide the history of this army which represented a time in which there was once a free Scotland.

The original name is more likely spelled Kynmont. Research has indicated that this family of Kynmount, which had a fort at this locality moved to the east bank at the branching of the Liddel Water, and the mouth of the Esk. That tower would be referred to as Kynmont Tower of a William, known as Willie or Kinmont Willie. Not on a mont/mount, but at the mouth of the Esk, the Kinmount peoples name would sometimes be referred to as Kinmouth. They acquire the surname, of Armystrand, at this locality, being a part of the army strand along the Liddel Water. The name Armystrand, as it grew became Armestrang meaning army strong, the strong army on the Liddel guarding Scotland, with support of Robert the Bruce and the Douglas families. Though in the 1630 County, Fermanagh, muster it does show the name Armestrang as one of the family’s variant names, because they the Armestrang were no longer the strong army of Scotland they took on a name which other of their family took on is that of Armstrong.

Johnnie Armstrong, son of the chief and the most successful reiver of his time, collected 36 of his followers – including some Elliots – who put on their best clothes and jingled their way to meet with the king, under safe conduct, to ask for pardons for past misdeeds. It was little wonder Borderers showed scant respect for lawful authority. An appeal has been lodged against the refusal of a wind farm described as “overly prominent and overwhelming” by planning officials. Dumfries and Galloway Council rejected the 12-turbine Hopsrig project near Langholm. It concluded that the impact on the setting in the Eskdale valley meant the scheme should not proceed. In 1484 and 1489, Willielmo Elwaldo (ie William Elwald/Elliot), was at the chief Robert Elwald (ie Elliot) receiving the land of Redheugh, Lariston and others. In 1607, my line of Gorrenberry, was banished from both kingdoms, living on land of the Hamilton-Somerville Family related to Robert of Redheugh-Lariston, in Fermanagh, Ulster, Ireland.
Buccleuch rejected Redheugh-Lariston’s ownership of the property over protest of William Ellot of Gorrenberry, William Ellot of Prickenhaugh, Robert Ellot of Braidlie and others. Robert of Redheugh living on his lands in Lariston, across from Prickenhaugh, lost these lands, to the Bauld Buccleuch, though he was properly infeft with them. Though the Prickenhaugh, Braidlie, Copshaw line of Ellot were exterminated as a part of Border Pacification-Genocide, along with the Armstrong; others and those of Gorrenberry, exist with our R-U106 Y-DNA live in what is now the USA. The family which took our lands and made a Barony of Gorrenberry of the lands of Gorrenberry, and Braidley. I wonder who they could be?
Martin Ellot was living of the Braidlie, but William Ellot was of Gorrenberry. note; William Ker of Mersyntoune, but since Robert does not yet own Redheugh he is of the Redheugh. Martin Ellot did not own Braidlie, and was living on Bothwell land, obtained from William Douglas of Cavers. Walter Scot of Edshaw (edge of trees), in the above sasine/deed is the so of David Scot of Buckeuch (bucking stream valley).

(Hate to admit it but the Bauld Buccleuch, has Belties on his land also. Anyone raising Belties can’t be all that bad.) Bet the better Beltie is the Gorrenberry Beltie, and not the Buccleuch Beltie.

Scions of the Elliots and the Scotts lived at various times here. The Brownie of Goranberry, a helpful supernatural being which cleaned the building nightly, was reputed to live in the tower with one of the Elliots.
The history of the Hermitage Valley is very much tied up with that of Hermitage Castle which lies to the east of Gorrenberry. The history of this important national monument and the lands around it have been reported in a fascinating monograph by Professor Richard Oram of Stirling University (Report of Hermitage Castle).

Would say that near 100%, of people are being honest about their direct family line. To be in error is to say they are lying about their family line. When an individual is honest about their family line, and one takes it they are lying, then it is the one which takes they are lying which creates the lye. MI6, in covert activities may utilize lies, but I am finding the best cover, with the extermination and vanquishing The Cowie, and the Gorrenberry line is to be honest, with people thinking I am lying creating a cover. Today, the Cowie and Gorrenberry are vanquished, with the Elwald line. The English Ellwood, a variant of the Elwald of York in England know of the Elwald line existence, along with Clan Armstrong, and the Clan Elliot chief Margaret Eliott.
Not of Redheugh and the Armstrong know I exist, though father Loren Spencer Elliott was of the Clan Elliot Society for decades, today to be unvanquished I am an Armstrong. The Elwald/Ellot of Gorrenberry rode with brother and loyal to the chief Martin Ellot (likely married to and not feuding with the Armstrong) of Braidlie high in Liddesdale, between Gorrenberry and the Hermitage Castle. Martin Ellot soldiered the Hermitage Castle for Boswell lease land of the Braidlie, therefore did not have a peel tower. Had on in the region of the Redheugh then Larriston Ellot of Over and Nether Larriston, and of the Crosser/Crozier, of nearby Over and Nether Riccarton, at Prickenhaugh.
As long as I present with high correctness from my point of view, and my Elliott history is considered accurate by the Ellwood, Armstrong and the chief, and not a part of today’s Clan Elliott history, to be Unvanquished is to be an Armstrong, but can help the Clan Elliott by truth being said a lye, giving the cover the Andrew ‘Dand’, father of Andrew ‘Dand’ the Cow Burgess of Selkirk older brother to Clementis Hobs, to be the Cowie of Gorrenberry. Andrew ‘Dand’ the Cowie, fathered Andrew ‘Dand’ the Cow, and Clementis Hobs (Hobbe Elwode Clemyt Crossier syster sone, ie Clement Crozier’s sister’s son Robert Elliott).

The Scottish royal burgh passed back and forth between the two nations at least 13 times until in 1482 it was finally captured by Richard Duke of Gloucester, the future King Richard III of England. The town never regained the trading importance that had enjoyed as a part of Scotland, but became an important military outpost instead.
That meant cities like Roxburgh, near today’s Kelso, Scotland, lost their seaport to England, and trade with Flanders and nations of Europe, which likely impact Old Roxburgh in a fashion in which people moved on to other more prosperous cities of Scotland. added 1/5/2019 MSE

The Cessfords the Buccleuchs remind me of the Hatfields and McCoys, who would destroy each other, by planting wind farms; though both are respective parts of their communities from people learning about their family history, and many of the people’s families which originated in an exterminated land between two kingdoms, The Borderlands. These people want to visit the place their ancestors came from. The government of Scotland supported by England is a government which has genocidal tendencies to Borderers, even though they made way for a preserved region of the Middle Shires, where the a partial genocide took place today’s government of Nicholas Sturgeon, wants a complete and total genocide, by industrializing with Scottish Government owned or controlled as previously with North British Windpower NBW, and now with Muirhall Energy, firms, the region so much that the descendants will not want to return.
