POW Hamiltonian Scottish Royalist, were indentured slaves to the Cromwellian Puritans, that is why the West Indies is not Presbyterian, but (Alexander) Hamiltonian Anglican Royalists. The Armstrong an Elliott of Co. Maguire (Co. Fermangh), married into the Irish, then the Africans of the West Indies. The surname Crozier has Anglican – Catholic influence, which are my in-laws. Rev. Parris, of a Puritan Barbados Plantation family. His Caribbean Indian slaves  left testimony in the Salem Witch Trials. Daniel Elliott was most likely half Natick Praying Indian of Rev. John Eliot, Eliot Hall, Harvard, married to the Cloyse-Littlefield line of Wells, Maine. Son, Daniel at time of testimony March 30, 1692 Daniel and Hannah (Anna Elliott), son Daniel would be a quarter Natick.

The Armstrong and Elliott of Co. Fermangh (Maguire) have tribal tendencies. The Elliot’s 29th chief is Margaret of Redheugh, Scotland just south in Copeshaw-Holme (Newcastleton) of the Hermitage Castle. The Puritan Cromwellian sold us as slaves because we would inter marry and spread around the world.  When Maxwell sided with England the Graham, the Armstrong, and Elliot and others sided with the Johnstone. Like to see what will happen to the EDF and Muirhall if they side with England, and Family Tree DNA if they side with the Union-Jack, trying to preserve my family’s history around the Hermitage Castle. and  for both sides of the border to be of one entity. If both sides can not be European Union, then they need to be the Irish of Saint Patrick which chased those Tory snakes out of Ireland, like my ancestors chased them out of America. No border in Ireland dividing the Maguire, Johnston, Armstrong, McManus, or Elliott. There are enough things which break-up families we certainly do not need a border in Ireland.

Sincerely, Mark Stephen Elliott

Border Reivers to Ulster genealogy.

Johnnie Armstrong (Roud 76; Child 169) (mainlynorfolk.info)

In the Ulster Muster Rolls of 1630;   Tullykelter, Co Fermanagh, Ulster, names are Armstrong, Armestrong, Armestrang, Curruthers, Ellot, Rutledge, Johnston, Scot.  Fought for Charles II, of Charleston, SC, Charlestown, MA, Charlestown, Nevis Island, West Indies, where Alexander Hamilton was born and today has a concentration of Elliott We married those Maguire, McManus, and McGovern, as we married the Grame-Graeme-Græme-Graham-Greene, though they do not want to admit it sometimes.  Alexander Bell took Graham as a middle-name, granddad Mark Elliott denied Hammer as a middle name. Mark and Hammer where surnames of both his grandmothers. If my name was to follow suit it after my grandmothers it would have been, Spencer Ryan Elliott, but I was named after my grandfathers instead as Mark Stephen Elliott, dad Loren Spencer Elliott did accept his mother’s maiden name as a middle name. Benjamin II 5, Wm. IV 4, Wm. III 3, Wm. II 2, Wm. I 1] born 17 Nov 1867 in
Rice Twp, Ringgold Co, IA, and died in Mt Ayr, IA, 1 Aug 1963. She married 10
Jul 1887 in the Methodist parsonage in Mt Ayr to Alamando Wilcox ELLIOTT
born 11 May 1865 in Avon, Fulton Co, IL. His parents were Rev. Sherburn
Alamando and Louisa Marie [Mark] ELLIOTT. `Al’ came to Iowa at the age of
three. His father was a pioneer Methodist circuit rider in southeast Iowa and
family moved frequently until moving to Rice Twp in 1871 to farm. His
grandfather, Rev. William F. Mark, was also a pioneer Methodist circuit rider
also serving in Illinois and Iowa with his last charge in Redding, Ringgold Co, IA.
After marriage, Emma and `Al’ settled on farm purchased in 1890 from his
father in Rice Twp where they lived until they moved to Mt Ayr in 1915. They
purchased in 1907 an additional 40 acres on the west side of this initial 80 acre
farm. This farm was rented to their oldest son, Mark, in 1915 and they retired
to Mt Ayr. They sold this farm in 1934 to this son. Their home in Mt. Ayr was
located at the present site if the Clearview Care Home for senior citizens.
Emma was the first resident of this fine center. They were active members of
the Methodist Church, having joined at Eureka east of Delphos, IA. `Al’ at five
feet eleven inches towered over his five-foot three-inch father. He detested the
name `Alamando’ and much preferred his friends to call him `Al’ or `A.W.’ He is
remembered for his fine sense of humor and cheerful disposition, always seeing
the bright side of everything. He enjoyed quoting poetry – generally ending by
giving credit to an author that may or may not have existed. He chewed
tobacco, always ‘saucered’ his coffee, and said `grace’ before every meal. The
`carom board’ was always readily available when the grandchildren arrived for
overnight stays. Alice, felt she gave these for nothing. The railroad
bordered the north edge of their lots with a trestle bridge crossing the street
bordering them on the east. They owned one automobile purchased new – a
1928 Whippet. Emma did the driving as `Al’s eyesight was very poor, having
lost an eye at the age of nine when a boyhood friend accidentally struck him
with an axe while watching him chop wood. Their house had a well located in
the east porch and a cave just east between house and garage. East of the
garage was the commonly referred to `two holer’ with that adjacent to a low
ceiling hen house with both covered with grape vines. They kept about a dozen
Rhode Island Red hens that produced very few eggs. She always had a jar full
of thick sugar cookies that really weren’t very good but she was a tremendous
grandma! They both enjoyed gardening and had many peach trees. Children of
Emma and `Al’;

The boss seems to have the same bad habit as me: we listen to Armstrong. Engineer Neil Armstrong took the first step on the Moon, and I saw the first satellite in space, launched by Russia. When Armstrong, as an engineer, said “one small step for a man”, the letter “a” was not in the entry, someone removed it.
When the Utah engineer says the Orings are bad, the shuttle explodes. Due to the lack of a nail, the horse was lost.

Though the Duke of Buccleuch, knows this land quite well, would question how well the Scottish Government, may a say a puppet of the English, and the Wind Farm industry, because they think a reporter is a land’s man. 29th Chief Margaret Eliott of Redheugh has and elwand, a Scottish standard of measurement on her shield. Elwood-Elwand-Ellot-Elliot-Eliott are Clan variant names. Am an Elwand of Gorrenberry, which measures. Did work as a mine engineer, but the Scottish government thinks that more than The Duke of Buccleuch, that a reporter knows more about land, and their reporter overturned the discission of not building Windy Farm, and name utilized by the English French but Scottish only in name wind farm industry. The heart of Robert never did make it to Jerusalem. If your government does not preserve this land into a National Park like the Duke of Northumberland, then without question they are a government of corporate English wind farms.

Union-Jack Tories still are laughing at sending Scots as slaves to the English Colonies.

My ancestors at least knew in 1776, to chase them out and fly the Stars and Stripes.

Scottish Poetry Selection – Wha Daur Meddle Wi’ Me?

The royal coat of arms in Scotland has the Latin motto “Nemo me impune lacessit”. The English translation of this is “Nobody interferes with me with impunity” and this is often defiantly expressed in broad Scots as “Wha daur meddle wi’ me?” which is the title of this anonymous poem. But on this occasion it is being aggressively repeated by a member of the Elliot family, one of the Border families who not only fought their neighbours but were part of the first line of defence against marauding English invaders – and could sometimes defy the Scottish monarch as well!

Notes;

More of line.

I. Andrew (Dand) Ellot of Liddesdale accused in the slaughter of Hugh Douglas, referred to as Cowie of Gorrenberry, because it was a story used when he came down from Baillie in Teviodale, to Gorrenberry east of the Hermitage Castle in Liddesdale, to visit his second son Robert Ellot from Hob Elwode, adopt syster’s son of Clement Croser, known as Clementis Hob, and helped the family, the Gorrenberry family make up a Cowie story, so they could explain the sounds made by him working during the night in which he became known as The Cowie of Gorrenberry. It is felt he lived in Teviotdale with Gilbert, referred to Dandis Gib, which was Gilbert of the Goldern Garties, which became of the Gilbert of Stobs line.

Andrew (Dand) has sons Andrew and Robert;
II. Andrew (Dand the Cow) Ellot, Burgess of Selkirk.
Robert (Clementis Hob, a Hob taking in by mother’s brother Clement Crosar) living with Archibald (Archie Keen) Ellot, younger brother to Gavin the Clark (Clerk).

Robert has sons, Robert and Andrew.
III. Robert Baillie to Sir John Hamilton of Armagh, his family likely died in the Irish Revolt of 1642, though he had a son Robert which surveyed land.
Andrew (Dand) Ellot of Liddesdale became Daniel Elliott of Somerville married to a Hamilton, of Tullykelter Castle.

Daniel Elliott of Tullykelter has sons;

Sheep stealers from the north of England: the Riding Clans in Ulster by Robert Bell

In the Four-Corners of New Mexico, taught BASIC at secondary level to Navajo and Zuni. Who says you can not learn from the youth.

Allen question; Trying to get help out of Harvard on this one. It is a lot to ask from someone from New Mexico. Did Rev. Thomas Allen who married the widow of John Harvard travel to England in 1650, was he on Capt. John Allen’s ship.?

Allen, Reverend Thomas, and Captain John 1640 Charlestown, MA

My family chased the Tories the Freedom of Speech silencers out of America. Daniel Elot (Elliott) was a Harvard Cromwellian Puritan slave of the Tory type. These people schooled at Harvard would never think of stopping a shuttle from going into space, when Utah engineers say it was not safe. Measure that silencing of my free speech is still held by Harvard types, and knew they silence an thought they hung me like a witch. Harvard if you know what the top of the queue means then you will know what applied engineering mathematics from Utah can do, and how you been relegated on an American standard to Nathaniel Hawthorne’s ancestors, as Salem judges, which story was utilized in The Crucible. Have the Y-DNA of Daniel Elliott which testified in defense of Elizabeth Proctor.

The above are not my people. My people are POW Scot sent to the British Colonies. These are my people.

Mothers of Returned Missionaries, we really need your help. Nuclear parity was lost when engineers in Brigham City, Utah, disobeyed O-rings, causing the shuttle to explode. A daughter from the community of Framingham, Massachusetts, died on the shuttle. Through this documentation, you ladies will recognize your sons, the engineers of Brigham City.

People from social studies, reporters, Harvard grads before they would believe engineers from Utah, on a remedial engineering strengths of materials class which I took at the University of Utah, they would put one of their own in a shuttle and send her into space, and have the shuttle blow up. They gave families of the witch trials renumeration, but they would rather die then correct the history to match the science. They would rather have a DNA race science of Adolph Hitler, and  showing they are not Americans, genealogists, or scientist by silencing shared speech need for science and genealogy, and not realizing the one which know the most about their family is of that family.

Correction, she was born about a year before me. MSE

On the map, populated areas are indicated by dark red dots, the toponyms Markovo, Markino, etc. are highlighted separately in purple, hydronyms are indicated in blue. The ancestral home of the Anglo-Saxons is highlighted in red, Sarmatia is highlighted in yellow. Red stars indicate the sites of the battles of Adrianople (378) and on the Catalaunian fields (451), in which the English Alans participated. The map also highlights the village of Konyatin, Chernigov region, which was supposedly the residence of a local tribal leader.

Those which do not check documentation, are ignorant, and silence people by trying to force their there knowledge of not reached ideologies on those who want to share, knowledge. Censorship is dictatorship. These are people which would silence those from just Googling ‘Brigham DNA’, to find out who I am. If you do not know who I am you have not Googled ‘Brigham DNA’.

Richard Burke, I have had him removed from the project. Unfortunately, FTDNA does not have a permanent ban function so he can keep coming back. I have tried implementing the approval required function on member join requests. However, that just taxes my time more and causes people who want to join delays in joining. Keep in mind this is happening in multiple projects so it is a lot of overhead on volunteer project administrators’ time.

Hello to my Germanic family. Hope all is well with you and your families. Im Zachary John Kump. My Y haplogroup is L-FT13849, my Mtdna is H1ao1. My father’s lineage is strictly German. My grandfather lineage was from Gottshee Austria 1330-1941. Prior to Gottshee Austria my grandfather lineage was from South Tyrol. My Grandmother (Kuhn) was from Black Forest Germany her Mtdna was U4a1a. My father and Grandfather passed in 2014. Dna became a hobby for me 3 yrs ago. I took every Dna test out there. I even test my uncle (my father’s younger brother). The results amazed me! I take pride in my German heritage. I realize my father’s generation was first to marry outside of German ethnicity creating me German/Irish mixture. My grandfather’s ancestors came to USA 🇺🇸 in early 1900s to Manhattan Ny. Then to Ridgewood Queens Ny. I love Quotes and with Dna answers just lead to more questions! 😆 Another good quote is from Bobby Sands “Our revenge will be the laughter of our Children” CHEERS 🍻

Ryan Rosenbaum has a question!
September 9 @ 8:19pm
Looking for the father of my great- great grandfather. My great- great grandfather Friedrich Christian (Surname unknown) Rosenbaum was born in Erfurt, Thüringen, Deutschland on the 24th of March 1869. His mother’s last name was Rosenbaum and she died in April 1869. The church record for Friedrich’s birth had the section for the father blank. Friedrich came to the United States possible in 1894 and was married and had 4 sons, but in 1901 or 1902 he returned to Erfurt, Thüringen, Germany to be involved with the family shoe factory. I can provide more info if needed, but if any one has a way to help that would be great. Thanks.

If you have autosomal (non-gender) DNA test results they can be uploaded to GEDmatch.com. You can search for DNA matches with persons who have taken DNA tests from ALL major companies. Basic membership is free with email registration. Also, check website FamilySearch.org run by the LDS (Mormon) Church. It is complimentary to Ancestry, My Heritage, etc. Free also.

My experience in Thuringia is that not many Church records have been transcribed and placed on family search although that may have changed in the last year or so. Other than autosomal testing I’m not sure what to suggest since the church records were blank. Was it the Evangelische? Would there be court records pressing the father for responsibility? I know they recorded illegitimate births upside down but I’m not sure about blanks.

Hi, My grandfather on my mother’s side, Maximilian Reiser, born in today’s Maribor in the year of 1874 to Dr. Mattheus Reiser born in Weilersbach, Baden-Wuertemberg, Germany in the year of 1830, is supposed to have a sibling who in turn probably has children and grandchildren. It would be very nice to find out if any of them are alive and where they live if this is the case.

Carpatho-Rusyn Society published two articles describing Polish soldiers who fought with Germany, were captured and kept in Allied POW camps. At end of WW2, the Polish POW soldiers returned home. They felt anyone with RUSYN ancestry helped Russia defeat Germany. Sent anyone with RUSYN ancestry back to Ukraine with little notice – sometimes only the clothes on their backs. Similar situation may have happened after WW1, but less documented. Modern Canadian relatives with Russian roots may have been sent to Canada during the DOUKHOBOR relocations that occurred over a century or more. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doukhobors, and http://www.doukhobor.org/Maps.html.

Roland. The referenced Carpatho-Rusyn articles are clearly WW2. A similar event may have happened at end of WW1, but that was not what the articles described. DOUKHOBOUR events began much earlier than WW1 and continued for perhaps a century or more.

Hi, I’m interested in Winkelmann’s from Krefeld (or Crefeld) in North Rhine-Westphalia. My great great grandfather emigrated from Krefeld to Bradford , England in the 1850s. After his death in 1879 the rest of the family emigrated to NZ where I was born. I ‘re-emigrated’ to UK in 1984 and lived here ever since. I recently obtained a family tree from Stadtarchive which got me back to 1675. I’m now trying to trace living relatives and waiting for DNA tests. Strong Mennonite connection so USA is my next place to research.

In the Russian-speaking environment, there is a version that the battle “Tollense valley battlefield” is supposedly a conflict over the genetic border between distant genetic relatives R1b and R1a. In the battle, the earliest Europeans from genetic genus I (i) were used as allies and support for the R1b cavalry. Allegedly, in the Bronze Age, there was a prototype of the Warsaw Pact, which protected Eastern Europe R1a from other different religions, ideologies, and new synthetic languages … in the future, divided R1a into small pygmy states, under external control. Therefore, it is very interesting to find the primary source for genetic haplogroups determined from the bones of ancient warriors who made history, which is unknown to us, since, for example, in Russia (even in tsarist Russia, perhaps due to the fact that the last Romanovs were R1b from the family Holstein-Gottorp). All historical events before the adoption of Christianity were destroyed or hidden from the public eye and education.

Hi, my name is Robert Pavlick. My surname was originally spelled either Paulik or Pavlik. My Kit # is B78169. I have tested to Y-67. My Haplogroup is E-M35. Are there any other Pavlik’s or Paulik’s or Pavlick’s in this group? My grandfather immigrated here to USA in 1899 from Sambron, a little village in what is now Northeastern Slovakia. But I have been told, and DNA seems to bear it out, that the Family may have originated further northwest in either what is now Germany or Switzerland and that they may have immigrated down into what was then (in the 1600’s, the Hungarian Empire,) at the request of the Hungarians, who were looking to populate the area with as many Christians as possible in order to defend against Ottoman invasion. I would love to connect with others. I find it interesting that my earliest ancestors may have been Germanic, prior to their immigration down to what is now Slovakia.

Well I had this crazy idea, that many years in the past my ancestors along with the wolf ate elk (moose), and were known as elk of the forest. Where the elk (moose) and wolf are returning felt that is where my Y-DNA came from. Later on we instead of elk (moose) we chased down cows in the borderlands between Scotland and England. The elk (moose) are entering Germany from Poland; https://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/wild-elks-return-to-germany-a-853581.html Figured there are bull and cow elk (moose) for reproducing, so figured if I trace my R-U106 back in time would likely end up in the region where mom’s dad a Barna came from. This is on the Polish-Slovakian border basically where Galicia of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire once was. Surname distribution which could be a Polish-Slovakian (Loš) name for elk (moose) seems to be from the region. https://forebears.io/surnames/lo%C5%A1 Maybe family relations base on the irrational term of ‘love’ may have some rationality.

Terri Stern 4 hours ago I met James at the Genetic Genealogy Ireland Conference in Belfast. He has a female Montgomery ancestor (not yet added to his tree at FTDNA) and I asked him to join the Montgomery Surname DNA Project.

Hold him in very high esteem. A genealogist with over a half century of it as a hobby, like genealogy is to me. For us James and myself we have together have over a century of shared genealogical experience a lot previous to DNA, and now we’re both are applying DNA, from different directions which allows just to share, integrate, gather, and compile our combined knowledge.

Bennett Greenspan,
Houston, do you have a problem?
Do not know as excellent genealogists know, graphics in Google images, of names such as FTDNA Hammer, FTDNA Behar, FTDNA Estes, and FTDNA Riddell. The above is a pretty popular graphic. Test piloting your genealogical search knowledge base to see if you can be dependent on.
Also testing your knowledge, on information to your customers to see if it can be relied upon. Such as multiple exact matches at time of surname adoption. Like that of Grisham with a Castle at time. Could have a name like Irvan de Grissom, meaning Irvan of Grissom castle, becoming Irvan Grissom, or even Gus Grissom of Mitchell, Indiana which gave his life for the space program in Houston.
Your math has something to be desire.
About 2 out of 3 tested have exact 12 markers, 14 24 14 11 11-14 12 12 11 13 13 29 with are https://www.familytreedna.com/public/Denmark?iframe=yresults

My Ewald/Elwald-Ellot/Ellwood name traveled over, as Anglo-Saxon word ‘wald’ evolved into ‘wold’ then the English ‘wood’ for FOREST.
About two out of three of the Gresham with variants carry these twelve markets with is indicative of Proto-Germanic-Anglo-Danish migration across the sea, which many people would agree with an even the People of the British Isles a well done with excellent Genetic sampling has done. Is FTDNA after profits they certainly have not shown to be very good searches, or of knowledge of how to apply Y-DNA to genealogical family migration. Houston you have a problem.

‘Rice’ surname found along the EU, Brexit border, https://named.publicprofiler.org/ where the Northern Ireland troubles occurred. Likely because of THE TROUBLES many ‘Rice’ migrated to West Germany.
‘David’ second in popularity among Armstrong, Elliott, and Bell as a forename after ‘John’. https://d3tije9h5o4l4c.cloudfront.net/social-photos/3195478?dpr=2&fit=max&h=411&w=590
Though in Germany and France ‘David’ is popular as a surname, but in the England the name ‘Davis’ is used. https://nvk.genealogy.net/map/1996:David,1996:Davis
